Faced with the dramatic eruption of the Tungurahua volcano between 1999 and 2000, we started post-emergency projects in Ecuador in the most affected areas of the central sierra. The evolution of the relationship with local partners has allowed the elaboration of a more concentrated strategy in the sector of agricultural production and income generation activities, with particular attention to the environment and the affirmation of human rights.
