Partnerships with local actors is fundamental in our interventions: we promote a development model based on direct collaboration with local stakeholders – public and private – involved in the projects in all steps, from the design phase. Since the beginning, while working with hundreds of partners, we have carried out field-planned activities as a result of the continuous exchange with communities’ concerning their needs.
Our activities comply with the statute, the code of conduct, the Ethics Chart of the association of the Italian NGOs, the Chart of the European NGOs (Elewitt chart) and the Code of Conduct of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement for NGOs in Disaster Relief. In addition, we signed the Link2007 accountability charter
We undergo audits and checks as requested by donors in accordance with the relevant regulations; we annually have our financial year certified by an external body; we adhere to the Istituto Italiano della Donazione (IID) Charter of Donation for Fundraising Initiatives and awarded the “certificate of excellence and transparency of management” (issued by the IID).
