The overall objective of this project is
to support the Montenegrin Ministry of Healthy and the competent
authorities in facing the current emergency situation. This
emergency situation is due to the presence of IDPs and refugees,
the interruption of the drug production in most Serbian drug
factories and the impossibility of the competent Montenegrin
authorities or other NGOs to procure an adequate quantity
of the second-line antibiotics requested in this project.
The project foreseen, in strict collaboration with Montefarm
(the drugs supply system of Ministry of Health) and PSF to
provide in particular for the heavy shortage of life-guard
antibiotics, to front of the more heavy infections and the
risk of dead for the population.
Together with the antibiotics supply, they are foreseen professional
refresher activities for doctors to improve a rational use
of the drugs and to increase the technician knowledge about
the drug supplied by the intervention.
