 The
project aims concern the improvement of the health conditions
of the target population, especially referring to the evacuated
population in Cambambe II camp (approximately 26.000 persons),
very close to Caxito, and the already resident population
of the area.
The project foresees an improvement of the quality of the
basic health services, with special attention paid to those
concerning mother and child health (MCH) sector.
The project also foresees an important training and capacity
building of the local personnel employed by the local Health
Ministry, in order to ensure the autonomous functioning of
the health services.
