LINK 2007 works for the endorsement and improvement of development cooperation, interpreted as an activity that requires, besides specific competences, relational skills, investment in capacity building and partnership, but also motivation and mission, strategic vision and an high degree of participation in order to operate in a way adequate for the beneficiaries needs and transparent towards donors.
In this light, development cooperation promoted by LINK 2007, differentiates itself from other approaches to international solidarity. In particular, Link 2007 method is based on the commitment to find and verify locally, for every project and multiyear programme, cooperation strategies and intervention practices able to deal with not only immediate consequence but also root causes of the problems.
