Kufungula Muae

The “Kufungula Muae” project is carried out by the NANA association in partnership with COSV and aims to promote financial inclusion, agribusiness development, territorial control and the prevention of the impacts produced by climate change.

The activities carried out by the project aim to involve and promote the inclusion of family-run agricultural activities in local production chains. The family farms’ introduction into the production chain will strengthen the value of the food systems of the province of Zambezia, creating new job opportunities for 3,625 young people and women.

The Agricultural Institutes of Mocuba, Gurué and Alto Molocué will also take part in the project, and will have the technical support of “DRM Consultoria e Serviços”.

Within the project, COSV will provide the technical support and skills of its specialized operators, working on renewable energy initiatives and photovoltaic systems implementation. It will also train agricultural college educators, young interns and community members on solar panel maintenance and solar panel kit provision.
