The new law on international cooperation came into force

The new law on cooperation became effective with the publication on the Official Gazette (L. August 11, 2014 n. 125 – “General Discipline on international cooperation for development”).
Many were the changes requested and obtained by NGOs to the text proposed by the government, although not all the elements have been incorporated in the way we hoped.
Among other things, remains suspended the judgment on the exclusivity of the relationship with the Deposits and Loans Fund introduced as a last-minute amendment.
According to link2007 and AOI, the new law, despite being a text mediated between different political positions, is certainly positive.
The next stage will be the implementing regulation that has the same importance as the law. The NGOs, with other stakeholders, will follow its definition in the six months following the entry into force of the law.
