Results: The strong focus on skill development and knowledge transfer in this project, ensured strengthened local capacities especially in the fields of agriculture, entrepreneurship and in cooperative development. Strengthened capacities led to an improvement in livelihoods, made more pronounced through our interventions in value chain development, market access facilitation and direct/indirect support to micro-enterprises. As a corollary, a number of basic, community-used infrastructure received rehabilitation support that helped growth in basic services. Overall improvement in natural resource management could be seen.
