Number/level of staff
The number and level of staff required in any programme will depend on:
- Progress in establishing systems, and recruiting and training staff.
- Number and size of transactions made each month.
- Number of currencies used.
- Number of bank accounts operated.
- Number of separate accounts, e.g. team members, sub-offices, petty cash, included in the programme's accounting records.
- Number of donors and their accounting and reporting requirements.
- Requirements of your own organisation.
More highly qualified staff may be required during programme start-up
