Basis of all systems

Financial systems vary depending on the organisation, donor, country, size and type of programme, but they all include:

• Vouchers describing and justifying every transaction. More
• Written records which list and analyse the transactions against budget. More
• Checks to make sure that the system is working. See Controls section
